How we work

Useful event details, traceable to a real source.

Every listing should help someone make a decision. A vague calendar heading, search-results page, or social rumor is not enough.

Our source order

We prefer official organizer and venue pages first, followed by city, county, tourism, park, museum, fairground, market, and registration calendars. Reliable secondary calendars can help us discover an event, but the strongest available source is linked for confirmation.

What a listing needs

  • A specific event or activity name.
  • A usable date or recurring schedule.
  • A city, venue, address, or other clear location.
  • An official or accountable source visitors can check.

Software helps us discover potential listings, but discovery pages are treated as leads, not events. A candidate must stand on its own before it reaches the public feed.

Freshness and corrections

Expired events leave the active feed. Recurring annual events are not rolled forward until a current organizer or venue source supports the new date. We recheck high-value calendars throughout the year and prioritize corrections reported by organizers and visitors.

We keep historical records for research, with the original dates and source links. An archived edition is not a confirmed announcement for the following year. An automatic yearly calendar repeat is treated as a lead when the new edition has not been confirmed.

Ranking and commercial independence

Organic results consider location, date, audience fit, usefulness, and source confidence. Sponsorship does not silently alter those rankings. Featured placements and affiliate links, if present, are labeled so readers can distinguish them from editorial results.

Research and automation

NearbyVibz is published by Sun Ryse Software LLC. We use automated discovery, date normalization, duplicate checks, and AI-assisted drafting to organize public event information. Guides bring those sources together with planning advice; they are not reports of an in-person visit unless explicitly stated. Source links show where to confirm schedules and admission. Illustrations set the scene and are not photographs documenting a particular event.

A short listing can be useful in search without needing its own article. Standalone event pages must add planning detail beyond the card summary; unfinished excerpts and generic placeholder copy do not qualify.

Corrections

Send the event URL and corrected source to operations@sunrysetech.com. We review material corrections and update or remove the listing when the source supports the change. See the contact page for other requests.
